Beth Lennon SymposiumThe Beth Lennon Symposium is designed for Law Enforcement, Prosecutors, Health and Human Services and Social Work personnel. We hope you will select personnel from your agency that deal with child abuse and domestic violence. This is a unique opportunity for cross training and networking between these important venues. The Symposium is held annually in January at the Town and Country Resort in Mission Valley. This event is in conjunction with the Annual International Conference on Child Maltreatment, presented by Rady Children’s Hospital. For information, please contact Teresa Stivers at teresa@promises2kids.org Child Protection Team Management MeetingsChild Protection Team Management is a bi-monthly meeting at the Rady Children’s Hospital-Chadwick Center involving supervisory and management staff of the San Diego Police Department, San Diego Sheriff Department, the District Attorney’s Office, Child Welfare Services, San Diego County Counsel, Rady Children’s Hospital, Palomar Hospital, the Commission on Children and Youth, and Promises2Kids. The goal of the meeting is to seek ways to improve the overall operation and effectiveness of San Diego’s multidisciplinary response to serious child abuse. The meetings are held at the San Diego Sheriff Department Trainings rooms located at in Kearny Mesa.
